TECHNICIAN LEVEL TRENCH RESCUE TRAINING 

Our course curriculum is designed to meet and exceed the NFPA 1006 Level I and Level II job performance requirements. In addition, our course design includes lessons learned by our staff from participating in over 20 actual trench rescue incidents.

Course curriculum includes:

1) Hazard assessment and mitigation techniques

2) Shoring of non-intersecting trenches

3) Shoring of intersecting trenches

4) Supplemental shoring techniques

5) Complex shoring techniques and problem solving

6) Collapse entrapment and extrication methods

7) Patient packaging and removal techniques

8) Management considerations and scenario based exercises

9) Case study review of actual trench rescues

10) Significant hands on training opportunity
